1. When does Lodge Punta Norte season starts?

A: The lodge is available all year. However, from May to August the weather conditions hamper our air operations.

2. How do I book the reservation with the Lodge Punta Norte?

A: You can do by our website and upon confirmation by telephone at the numbers: (+56 9) 98470493 - (56 9) 88605405.

3. Do your facilities have electricity, water, etc..?

A: Yes, our facilities have 2 sets of lighting: a renewable energy network consisting of a wind turbine and photovoltaic panels to avoid impact our environment, and a generator to supplement our consumption.

For the drinking water we have our own purification plant and decanting, exclusive to our facility.

4. Are there suitable for bathing beaches on the island?

A: On the island there are several beaches where you can enjoy white sand, a pleasant climate and poson in the rocks.

5. Are there other means of transport carrying the island?

A: No. Only accessible by air.

6. What are the means of payment to make reservations?

A: Bank deposit corresponding to 30% of total value, to make the reservations active.

7. Where do I take the aircraft to the island?

A: In Tirua, last village in the Eighth Region of Chile.

8. Does the airlift is included in the fare?

A: Yes, the flights are included in the trip.

9. In Tirúa are there places to park my car while visiting the island?

A: Yes, next to the airfield there are locals that provide this service after coordination with us.

10. What type of rooms offered the lodge?

A: Our spacious suites offer singles, doubles rooms and family apartments.

11. Can children travel on planes? Are there any special requirements for it?

A: Yes, they can travel and the requirement demanded by the Bureau of Aeronautics is that after 2 years of age they must occupy a seat, including its security tools.

12. What kind of aircraft as Lodge Punta Norte?

A: We have two CESSNA 172 aircraft to transport our passengers, which meet all current regulations according to the DGAC, the national aviation authority.

13. Are there urban areas on the island? Is it easy to reach them?

A: No, in the island there are only a small group of houses, a checkpoint of police and emergency basic services.

14. Is there a cell phone signal in the lodge?

A: Yes, there is cell phone communication by the company Movistar.

15. May I take the plane from another city in Chile?

A: Yes, according to the requirement of our customers.

16. How far in advance should I make reservations?

A: In high season, with approximately one week in advance.

17. What are the weather conditions and normal temperature on the island?

A: During the season, the average temperature is 18 º C to 24 ° C. There is always a prevailing wind.

18. Are there any medical or emergency services on the island?

A: There is a rural hospital with 2 paramedics.

19. Can I bring alcoholic beverages?

A: It is prohibited the entry of alcohol to our lodge, however we have a wide variety of wines and cocktails in our international bar.

20. Can I bring my pet?

A: Yes, but can not get into the rooms of the lodge. This can be scheduled once your reservation is made.
